Since the dawn of time - or at least since man started using ID+ for consumer verification of individual identities, the AuthScore has been the central component of an ID+ Score. A simple ordinal whole number between 0 and 10, it is the cornerstone of ascertaining if a consumer being verified is the person they claim to be. For the latest relase of Socure ID+ for Consumer Verification, version 2.5, the AuthScore is "new and imrpoved" for better validation.
In July 2016, ID+ v2.5 added new field validation models, reason codes and correlation scores that are providing incredible predictive power that feed into both the fraud and authenticity scores returned from an ID+ Digital Identity Check. The correlation score is a new and unique way to improve upon an identity verification process, and enable KYC-type inspection. What’s New in ID+ Version 2.5
Over the past two years, Socure has redefined electronic identity verification with alternative data from trusted online and social media information. In version 2.5, we have upped the game with tremendous enhancements to both our SOC-2 Certified Social Biometrics platform and our ID+ APIs.
To do this, ID+ now returns more data than ever before. More data sources, more detailed and expanded field validation and reason codes, more input for fraud prediction—more information for better consumer decisioning.
