AI-Everywhere, Now Explainable: Socure Launches GenAI Explainability Across RiskOS™ and ID+
At Socure, we’re building the future of identity, compliance, and risk as an AI-first platform. Artificial intelligence has been the engine of our innovation since its inception. From fraud scoring to watchlist monitoring, document verification to synthetic identity detection, AI powers nearly every decision across our platform. Now we’re evolving with agentic intelligence that explains, guides, and accelerates action.
The more powerful our platform becomes, the more important one thing becomes: trust.
And trust in AI starts with clear explainability.
What Is GenAI Explainability?
GenAI Explainability brings natural-language explanations to the key outputs across Socure’s platform—surfacing the “why” behind risk scores, identity match decisions, and document verification results.
Unlike off-the-shelf AI tools, GenAI Explainability runs entirely within our secure, sovereign environment. That means:
- No data leaves Socure’s platform
- No LLM training leakage
- Full control, privacy, and compliance every step of the way
This capability does not affect decision outcomes. Instead, it makes them more transparent, understandable, and actionable for risk and compliance teams.
A Milestone in Socure’s AI-Everywhere Vision
This launch builds on the momentum from our Q1 release of the Compliance AI Assistant, which introduced GenAI copiloting to our Global Watchlist Screening & Monitoring solution. That milestone redefined how compliance teams interact with complex sanctions and PEP monitoring workflows—using conversational AI to streamline triage and resolution.
Now, with GenAI Explainability, we’re extending that same value across the entire risk decisioning stack.
Why It Matters
Behind every risk score and identity match is a team of fraud, compliance, and support professionals working hard to protect their organizations and legitimate users. But when AI decisions are a black box, those teams are left spending hours decoding model logic, escalating to data science, and second-guessing outcomes.
Socuere’s GenAI Explainability changes that.
By transforming dense risk signals into intuitive, plain-language summaries, this feature empowers analysts to move faster and with greater confidence. Instead of parsing dozens of reason codes or combing through raw data, they get an immediate understanding of why a decision was made—tailored to the specific case at hand.
This clarity not only speeds up case resolution but also builds consistency in decision-making, reduces the need for escalations, and unlocks operational autonomy. Investigations that once took hours now take minutes. And every explanation is saved alongside the decision data—making internal governance and external audits smoother and more defensible.
Just as importantly, GenAI Explainability reinforces trust. Trust in the AI powering Socure’s platform. Trust between business units and technical teams. And trust between Socure and its customers, who now have an auditable, transparent window into every decision made.
In a world where identity decisions impact access to financial services, benefits, and security, transparency isn’t just a feature—it’s a responsibility.

Where You’ll See It
Starting June 26, “Explain” buttons will begin appearing across both RiskOS™ and ID+. In RiskOS, analysts can access explanations by clicking the “Explain” button within each product tile—such as Fraud, Synthetic, or Email Risk—in the Case Management view. In ID+, the button will be visible on product cards within the Transaction Details view, providing on-demand clarity at every step of the review process.
Day-one product coverage includes:
- Sigma Identity Fraud
- Sigma Synthetic Fraud
- Verify and Verify+
- DocV (Document Verification)
- Email, Phone, and Address RiskScores
- Global Watchlist Screening & Monitoring
What’s Coming Next
In Q3 2025, we’ll expand these capabilities with workflow-level summaries that provide holistic, end-to-end explanations of decisions made across multiple Socure products in a single transaction. This will allow users to see not only product-level insights, but also how different risk signals interact across the entire evaluation journey.
We’ll also introduce a conversational agent designed to answer case-specific questions and guide investigations directly within RiskOS. Whether an analyst wants to dig deeper into why a particular reason code was triggered or understand how multiple features combined to drive a score, this assistant will deliver real-time, contextual insights in plain language—enhancing clarity and reducing back-and-forth across teams.
And that’s just the start. With 16 GenAI projects emerging from Socure’s latest internal AI Hackathon, users can expect a rapid pace of innovation across the platform. We’re focused on delivering explainable, actionable intelligence that empowers analysts, streamlines operations, and raises the bar for transparency and trust in identity decisioning.
